Sales Executive
Peterborough, Cambridgeshire (office-based)
£40,000 – £45,000 basic (OTE £65,000 – £120,000 year 1)
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm

Key responsibilities for the Sales Executive role:
Reporting to the Senior Finance Broker, you’ll be responsible for:
- Generating new business through outbound calls and building rapport with potential clients
- Taking a consultative approach to understand client needs and recommend suitable financial solutions
- Qualifying opportunities and passing them to senior team members for completion
- Building and maintaining a consistent pipeline of leads
- Supporting with proposal documentation and funding applications
- Gathering and reviewing client documentation and business information
- Learning to interpret financial data and company accounts
- Working towards KPI and SLA targets within a structured sales process
- Collaborating closely with senior team members and mentors
- Responding to internal requests and supporting wider team objectives
Skills and experience
We’re looking for a Sales Executive who has the following:
- Previous experience in sales or a target-driven environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- A motivated, driven, and disciplined approach to work
- Confidence speaking with business owners and decision-makers
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- A proactive and resilient mindset with a focus on results
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
