Position: Junior Project Manager

Coulter Elite Resourcing is working in partnership with a growing, forward-thinking digital web studio based in Peterborough to recruit a Junior Project Manager / Project Coordinator.
This is a hands-on project management role within a digital agency environment. It is not a passive coordination position. You’ll be actively involved in website builds — inside WordPress, inside the detail, and central to delivery.

Key responsibilities
- You’ll play a central role in supporting the delivery of website and digital projects from initial brief through to launch, ensuring consistency, quality and momentum throughout.
- Supporting the management of website builds from briefing to go-live
- Working directly within WordPress to populate, structure and format content
- Coordinating designers, developers and internal stakeholders to maintain delivery timelines
- Conducting structured pre-launch quality assurance checks across desktop, tablet and mobile
- Testing forms, integrations, navigation and core user journeys
- Tracking tasks, milestones and actions within structured project management systems
- Attending client meetings, supporting communication and managing feedback cycles
- Ensuring all website output aligns with the original creative brief and project objectives
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
You’ll bring experience supporting digital or website projects and be comfortable working within a CMS environment.
- Hands-on WordPress or CMS experience
- Experience coordinating or supporting website builds or digital projects
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly in formatting, layout and content accuracy
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using project management tools (ClickUp or similar platforms advantageous)
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work independently
- An understanding of SEO basics, user journey and conversion principles would be beneficial, though not essential
