We’re looking for a Pump Equipment Fitter local to the Manchester area to join a well-established, globally recognised pump supplier and repairer.
With plenty of opportunity for overtime, this is an opportunity to earn well above your base salary and work alongside some of the biggest names within the industry.
To apply for this role, you’ll need a minimum of level 3 NVQ in mechanical engineering
Responsible for pumps, motors, and rotating equipment, your role will be to dismantle, inspect and repair pumps and communicate with blue chip companies in oil, gas, power stations, utilities and other industrial applications.
As Pump Equipment Fitter, your tasks include:
- Overseeing and managing key contracts to ensure successful project delivery, meeting all deadlines and client expectations.
- Conducting thorough inspections and disassembly of pumps and related equipment.
- Providing clear and precise specifications for repairs, ensuring all necessary parts and procedures are identified.
- Collaborating closely with engineers to guarantee that all technical standards and quality benchmarks are consistently achieved.
- Coordinating with production and site teams to ensure smooth operations and timely execution of work, addressing any challenges that arise on-site.
What’s on offer
- An annual salary of up to £40,000 + paid overtime
- Full time, permanent position
- Monday – Thursday 8:30AM – 5:00PM and Friday 8:30AM – 4:00PM
- 21 days annual leave + bank holidays
