Our client, a globally recognised leader in specialist equipment, is seeking an Account Manager to join their team in Huntingdonshire.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional support to clients around the globe whilst identifying new business opportunities, providing accurate quotations and contributing towards the overall success of the business.
Responsibilities of the Account Manager
- Assist customers via phone, fax, and email, ensuring prompt support.
- Provide accurate price quotations, source non-standard materials, and follow up on quotes.
- Process customer orders and coordinate shipments to meet requirements.
- Educate new customers on tooling and material usage.
- Build strong relationships with customers and sales representatives while communicating company policies and product details.
- Maintain sales records and comply with company processes and quality standards.
Core requirements
- Sales or administrative experience
- Proficient in computer use and typing
- Strong communication, customer service, and persuasive sales skills
- Fluent in English, with the ability to handle customer enquiries professionally
