We’re looking for an experienced Paint Technician with a strong work ethic and keen attention to detail to restore client vehicles to factory standards after bumps, scrapes, and accidents.
What you’ll be doing
- Ensure all necessary parts are removed before painting
- Sand down relevant areas, including adjoining sections for seamless blending.
- Mask off areas not being treated
- Etch and prime surfaces in preparation for painting
- Select, match, and mix colours using the colour palette
- Spray paint panels or vehicle parts using various techniques to achieve a flawless, factory-standard finish
- Work with water-based paints
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer or Vehicle Painter
- Time-served and/or qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ level
- ATA accreditation is a bonus, but not essential
