Responsibilities
- Utilise your expertise in laminating techniques to lay up and bond prepreg composite materials following established procedures
- Conduct thorough inspections to verify the quality, thickness, and integrity of composite laminates, making necessary adjustments as needed
- Safely handle and store prepreg materials, ensuring proper storage conditions and minimising waste
- Work closely with colleagues in a collaborative environment to meet production schedules and maintain a smooth workflow
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your team members
Experience
- Proven experience as a Composite Laminator in the automotive or aerospace industry
- Proficiency in working with prepreg composite materials
- Strong knowledge of composite lamination techniques and processes
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Team player with strong communication skills
