Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Panel Wirer to support the Workshop Manager and Team in the assembly of metal enclosures and wiring of electrical components. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality builds, maintaining deadlines, and meeting both industry and customer standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble stainless and mild steel enclosures.
- Layout chassis plates using measuring tape, ruler, drills, taps, and rivets.
- Read and interpret technical drawings for the installation of electrical components.
- Wire electrical components to specified drawings using stripping and crimping tools.
- Travel within the UK and abroad for project requirements.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Proficiency in building metal panels and enclosures to a high standard.
- Electrical wiring knowledge.
- Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification (City and Guilds).
Essential Personal Competencies:
- Confident and effective communicator, both written and verbal, across all levels.
- Ability to understand, translate, and build from technical drawings.
- Capable of reviewing and amending technical drawings where necessary.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn new skills and knowledge.
- Excellent time management skills, demonstrating a structured and methodical approach to workload.
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy, even in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, capable of working independently, and as part of a team.
- A safety-first mindset and a proactive approach to seeking assistance when required.
- Ability to balance personal objectives with the wider company goals.

- Full UK driving license with the ability to travel to business locations.
