Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Plant Fitter to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients who are a leading name in the Aggregates and Concrete sector, known for high-quality products and exceptional customer service. Our client is expanding team in Peterborough to support growing demand in Peterborough, Grantham, and Boston.
Principle Responsibilities for the Plant Fitter :
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on all plant fixed and mobile plant in the field.
- Diagnose and resolve specific fault issues efficiently.
- Ensure all service manuals are updated and service information is properly filed.
- Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to manufacturer guidelines.
- Working as part of the team
Person Specification for Plant Fitter:
- Completed a recognized apprenticeship in a related field (NVQ level 2 or 3, or equivalent).
- Good welding/ fabrication skills.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the quarry, concrete or aggregates industry.
- Flexible and proactive in taking the initiative.
- Experience in servicing Heavy mobile plant.
This is a full-time, permanent position for an Plant Fitter, working 40 hours per week with many opportunities for overtime. The role offers an annual salary of up to £50,000, along with a company car. Annual company benefits include 22 days of holiday, plus Bank Holidy, a pension scheme, and free car parking.
