Coulter Elite Resourcing is currently seeking a talented Workshop Engineer to join a well-established and highly successful client, a leading name in Earth Moving equipment, based in Biggleswade. Our client is dedicated to delivering high-quality maintenance and repair work, consistently meeting stringent standards and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Delivery Inspections: Conduct routine pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and install both factory-approved and locally sourced extras on machines.
- Maintenance & Repairs: Modify, repair, and service machines in line with established guidelines and specifications.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow Workshop Engineers, providing support to ensure team success.
- Safety & Organization: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workshop environment, strictly adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Mentorship: Support and mentor engineering apprentices, playing a key role in their development.
Person Specification:
- Qualifications: Completed a recognized apprenticeship in a related field (NVQ level 3).
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the industry.
- Team Player: Strong team collaboration skills with excellent communication abilities.
- Flexibility: Adaptable approach to work, willing to take on various tasks as needed.
- Initiative: Proactive mindset, with a focus on maintaining high standards of workshop organization and cleanliness.
This is a full-time, permanent position for a Workshop Engineer, offering 40 hours per week with opportunities for overtime. The role comes with a competitive salary of up to £37,250 per year, along with a generous company pension and numerous other benefits. Annual perks include 23 days of holiday + BH.
