HR Consultant/Business Partner

£45,000 – £50,000 + Commission

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Effectively account manage assigned clients; to ensure compliance and determine their HR operational and strategic needs, delivering services in line with agreed SLA’s
  • To provide ER and HR related advice to clients; ensuring the advice offers best practice and commercially practical solutions, whilst explaining the risks and liabilities with associated solutions
  • To grow the client base in both value and profitability of delivery
  • To undertake ad-hoc HR consultancy work on site or remotely as directed
  • To design and deliver HR Training, seminars/webinars
  • Participate in the out of hours telephone advice line service offered to clients; working on a rota basis
  • To support the business development team by identifying opportunities for additional services.     
  • To spend time visiting clients and provide them with complex and strategic support

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Operational Generalist HR experience dealing with complex ER and HR cases
  • Experience of drafting and advising on HR processes, policies, and procedures and up to date knowledge of Employment law and case law
  • Experience of working to deadlines in a pressurised environment
  • Ability to organise and prioritise own workload
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team, and on own initiative and autonomously
  • Good IT skills. A working knowledge of Windows (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Full driving license and use of own vehicle as travel throughout the UK will be required 
  • CIPD qualified or working towards Level 5 or above
