Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Agricultural Service Engineer to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients who are a global agricultural machinery business who specialise in selling and servicing a comprehensive range of high quality harvesting equipment and tractors.
Principle Responsibilities for the Agricultural Service Engineer :
- Conducts diagnostics and repairs on agricultural or plant equipment in both workshop and field settings.
- Submits all necessary reports and administrative tasks promptly and to a high standard (including job cards and time sheets).
- Complies with all safety guidelines and regulations.
- Finishes all training programs promptly to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Keeps the work area clean, helps with overall workshop organization, and ensures tools and vehicles are used correctly at all times.
Person specification:
- Has experience in performing service repairs and capable of conducting repairs and maintenance using proper tools and equipment, following approved methods.
- Possesses strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Able to use standard computer applications, the internet, and manufacturers’ service portals.
- Can operate vehicles and equipment necessary for diagnostic tasks.
- Demonstrates good customer service skills.
- Familiar with manufacturers’ products.
- Works effectively within a team.
- Holds a minimum LTA certification or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role.
- Possesses a full, clean driving licence, which is essential for field roles.
- Willing and able to work extended hours and weekends.
This is a full time permanent Agricultural Service Engineer position, working 40 hours a week with plenty of overtime opportunities , offering an annual salary up to £36,000 plus annual company benefits to include a 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, discount scheme on all company products and free car parking.
